Still facing some problems here and there, which is why I haven't been online lately.

But anyway.

I haven't said anyting about my Wii ever since that game-suggestions post, have I? So here goes a few random things cuz I have nothing better to talk about :B

- I got a 3 star ranking on Mario Kart Wii. Finally x__x; After many frustating blue shells (WHY DO THEY EVEN EXIST) I managed to get it. And that's it, I'm NOT gonna try to win agains the Expert Ghosts cuz I'd fail so hard it'd even hurt (I won againts like, 4, but that's all).

- I bought Petz: Dogz 2 LOL. A while ago too (man, I really must update this thing more often). And I've beaten it already - it's kinda short and pretty easy cuz, well, it's pretty much for kids :B But as I said, I'm a sucker for pups so yeah. I thought it was fun (and very cute) nonetheless X3

- My sister got Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince... and she already beated it! OMG it's such a short game o_o; She got so frustated lol. I haven't played it yet, but it looks fun (especially when it comes to preparing potions using the wiimote XD), and the graphics are gorgeous. I think I'll give it a try.

- Last but not least: OKAMI. OH GAWD. Thank you SO MUCH for suggesting it, Larunya! It's one of the bestest games I've ever played. Ever. I'm so addicted to it it's not even funny XD The graphics are amazing, the story is awesome and the gameplay is really fun!! BUY IT NAO EVERYONE.
... I keep thinking about the word "okama" when I play it tho ROFL

I'm done with my nonsense for now :D

!: okay

OH MY GOODNESS THE CHARGERS HAVE WON 3 STRAIGHT! How amazing was this game? First of all, San Diego's defense did what they haven't done very well this season and REALLY came up big in stopping the Giants. Things started well for the Bolts when they scored first. Things were tight through the first half and the third quarter. In the 4th however, it looked bleak and miserable for the guys when they were down 14-17 and they completely gave up a drive and on the next possession, Rivers threw an interception. Hell, I called the time of death on San Diego at the midway point of the final quarter, but again, the defense came up big with a goal line stand to prevent a ten point deficit. With 2:05 left in the game, Rivers, as he is so used to doing, led the Chargers down the field for 80 yards, capped by a good run by Sproles and of course, the TD throw to Jackson. I held my breath through the last seconds of the game since the lead was only 1 pt and I celebrated like we'd won the Superbowl when Shawne Merriman finished off the night with his second sack. WOW. Just a great game for the Chargers. Vincent Jackson has DEFINITELY shown what he's capable of these past couple of games. He's absolutely reliable and solid. Antonio Gates had a forgettable game, with 2 dropped passes that were VERY catchable. But that's minor. It might not have been the Superbowl but it was huge for San Diego. Clearly, Philip Rivers may not be as popular or known as Eli Manning and some might say the Giants did good in getting Eli, but I think I speak for all of Charger Nation when I say we wouldn't have it any other way. Philip is a consistant, reliable quarterback who comes in every game with pride and plays that way all throughout a game no matter what the score is.

Next week, the Chargers play Philadelphia back home in Qualcomm. It'll be another chance to kick another team while they're down, since they got battered by the Cowboys last night.

“It’s a big emotional win. I don’t need a real reason why, but it ranks right up there with the win at Indy in the playoffs (2009). The link between me and Eli is always going to be there. So yeah, it’s a little special. Any time you play against a team that won the Super Bowl, it’s fun. It (the trade) didn’t weigh into my mind and my thinking, but I bet it was there.” -Philip Rivers

Title: That's why we, make a good you and me (Five times Artie realises he might have fallen for his best friend)
Chapter: 2. We both laugh, at the most random situations
Fandom: Glee
Characters/Pairings: Artie Abrams/Tina. C

I've finally made a start sorting through the many pictures I took in London. While I tried my best to narrow them down, there were still a lot of them left. And since I want to document a lot of the things I saw, I'm afraid the posts will be more extensive than I first thought. But I hope that for those of you who like to see the pictures it won't make too much of a difference how many pictures there will be. Even at the risk of death by boredom. If I find the time I will be making about one post a week for the foreseeable future, not all of them will be this big. Those of you who don't like looking at entries with so many pictures can alternatively use the gallery. But there will be less text and no additional links. You can click on every picture for a larger version. But now, I hope you're sitting comfortable, without further ado, the recap of the first day.

Airport

View from the plane early in the morning, waiting for permission to start. Flight was on time, first Tube ride to the city without a problem, as was the check-in at the hotel. At about nine in the morning (thanks to the one hour time difference) I was ready to start exploring London. Weather was as predicted, alternating between dark clouds, drizzle and rain.

  • A second still for Invictus has been released as part of a LA Times story on film-making in South Africa. Meanwhile, South African group Overtone recorded all songs for the trailer and have recorded eight songs for the film.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Opening next month will be Clint Eastwood's "Invictus," a historical drama about the upset win by South Africa in the 1995 Rugby World Cup, which helped unite blacks and whites during the crucial early months of Nelson Mandela's presidency. It stars Morgan Freeman as Mandela and Matt Damon as Francois Pienaar, the team captain.

In an interview, one of the film's producers, Lori McCreary, who also co-produced the 1993 South Africa-set film "Bopha!" -- which her Revelations Entertainment production company partner Freeman directed -- called the country "a great place to make films." Among the factors she cited were a favorable currency exchange rate, a variety of arresting shooting locations and one of Africa's deepest pools of talent. More than 200 of the 240 crew members and 62 of 70 actors who worked on "Invictus" were South African, she added.

"The U.S. is more interested in South Africa than at any point probably since the '94 election," McCreary said. "The world is looking at South Africa." As for the coincidences of timing and subject matter between "Invictus" and this summer's World Cup, she said, "I wish I could say it was planned. I think it's fortuitous for us."

  • There's a new article about Matt at The Guardian praising Matt's career choices and status in the industry, but it's a compilation of previous articles and has no original quotes.

  • A rumor from this week's Holy Moly (British) newsletter:

Bourne again! Get ready! Universal Pictures are planning to shoot two more Bourne films back to back next year.

  • Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum were named the equal second best films of the decade at The Times (UK).

  • Matt will be appearing with Howard Zinn at New York University on Thursday 12 November to promote The People Speak. More details here.

  • Photos of Matt with producer Chris Moore on the set of The Adjustment Bureau on Saturday are at WENN.

Chapter: 1. You and me, we couldn't stand being normal
    Fandom: Glee

Summary: The first time Artie notices Tina- like really notices her in more ways than he would feel comfortable listing as an introduction (more than a “Hi, this is my friend, Tina.” way)- it really isn’t his fault. (Five times Artie realises he might have fallen for his best friend)
